My girl crush for Elle Casey just got even bigger after reading this book. With every book of hers I read I get all the feels. I always laugh, out loud too#!So here we meet Teagan, who is a spoiled rich girl with daddy issues. Until one day she receives. Phone call that informs us that her father has died and she is left with a trust fund she cannot touch until she is 30. So what is a gal to do?! No work experience. No money. No place to live. She ends up job hunting on the shady side of town and gets a job working for Rebel wheels. Where she meets Mick, Rebel, and Colin. Just when you think you have a grasp on where the story is heading there is a twist that you don't see.
I am normally good at book predicting. This one still pulled. Few unexpecteds on me.
Rebel, yes that's his name, is totally hot. Full on primitive male. You never hear his story though but there are two more books after this one so it's welcomed at this point. He is still a mystery through the entire book. Only a few things are certain. He loves his job, his brothers, and he is falling for Tea.
Some people will probably complain that this story doesn't go into much detail and things progress quickly. Try to remember that there are two more parts. If it developed all at once and she told you everything to soon then what would the point be later? Also, even though it's part of a trilogy you aren't left with some major cliffhanger (Callie and Kayden I'm talking to you) To me, Elle Casey pulled off another brilliant book. When it comes to her books now I don't even read the description. I just buy them because I know I won't be disappointed.
Take a leap. You won't regret it.

Rebel Rebel Wheels Book 1 edition by Elle Casey Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Elle Casey is Hilarious! I love her heroines. I also love that her supporting characters are interesting instead of annoying. Quite frankly, there are many authors who make the supporting characters into these outlandish personas in an attempt to create comic relief. They come off so annoying. These characters are interesting and help move the story along.
This author would get way higher ratings from me if she developed her love stories. Oftentimes, there isn't even a reason for the main characters to be declaring their love because they have barely even spoken! It is frustrating and I have to keep taking breaks from the author because I feel like the story was thrown together.
If you want to laugh- This author is great. I hope she continues to write great heroines, but I hope she would actually write a love story to put her in.
This is one of those situations where I feel like I did NOT read the same book as everyone else! It was rough getting through this book - I thought the writing was very poor and the characters were poorly developed - nothing made sense, not even the breaks in the chapters! I wanted to like it because everyone else did, but I can say I will definitely not be reading any more of her books unless they are free.
I loved this book something hard! Teagan is one semester away from finishing college when a single phone call changes her world upside down. She's now penniless and practically homeless, but she puts on her big girl panties and looks for a job and a place to live. Teagan's fun, spunky, word-vomit character stole the show for me! She was so quirky without being over-the-top, as was her bestie, Quin. Teagan's job search was laugh-out-loud hilarious - I was gasping for breath at the laundromat! She was relentless in securing her job at Rebel Wheels, where we meet garage owner Rebel. I kinda dug his silent tough guy demeanor, because you knew there was a helluva lot going on in that gorgeous body, er, head of his. Teagan and Rebel really couldn't have been more opposite, and I was simply DYING for them to get together! I never expected the sinister twists this book took towards the end, and I almost needed Rebel to go a bit more "Officer and a Gentleman" with Teagan, but I loved these two together so much. I loved all the crap Teagan went through and still remained the fun, strong character she was with a super-quick comeback. This series continues into the next book but I got enough of a happy-for-now ending.
Rebel is a Romantic Comedy with a suspense story simmering in the background which kept me intrigued until the end where it takes center stage.
Quin and Teagan have great chemistry as friends and many times caused me to laugh out loud. Their one-liners are just so funny and light-hearted.
Teagan has some emotional moments where I felt true heartache for her, but I loved her determination.
Teagan and Rebel, well some moments are great and others I struggled with. However, once I knew his story I forgave and understood his silent treatment. The relationship with the brothers I enjoyed immensely and how they became attached and protective of Teagan.
Now I have to admit I am unhappy with her dad's story not being resolved. I did find myself smiling at the conclusion about how Rebel stood up and took charge.
This is not a college romance, it takes place over college break. There are some great passionate moments. The verbal Diahorrea between Quin and Teagan will make you laugh, cringe and fall in love with their friendship.
Overall, I enjoyed this story.
